"The government works hard to provide quality services for our seniors; however, sadly, many seniors' needs go unmet. For over half a century, the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Homes Foundation has been an important part of our healthcare system. With the support of our donors, the Foundation steps in to fill in these gaps in care with original programs and services that complement the work of the government and improve the lives of our seniors.  We consistently hear from families that our exceptional supplementary care gives them a beacon of hope and comfort when they need it most.

If you are interested in learning more about how our work aligns with your philanthropic goals, I encourage you to contact us. We would love to share the scope of our services with you and envision what we can accomplish together for our seniors."

Tracy Petzke, M. Sc., EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Since beginning my role as Executive Director of the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Homes Foundation just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, it has become clear just how rewarding this role will be. I have the good fortune of working with many wonderful caring individuals and am continuously witness to the meaningful impact the Foundation has on the daily lives of seniors in our community.

These past years have presented us all with a new challenge, the COVID-19 pandemic. With the senior population greatly affected not just by the virus itself, but also by extended periods of isolation and encountering numerous delays with the public health care system, the Foundation has adapted its programs. We are working hard to ensure the continued support of both the residents and the hard-working staff at St. Andrew’s Residential Centre, as well as our Senior Support Program seniors who remain in their own homes across Montreal and surrounding areas. Our team is striving more than ever to live up to our motto of Caring in Action.

I would like to invite all “Friends of St. Andrew’s” to reach out to me at any time with questions, suggestions or just to say hi.

“The greatness of a community is most accurately measured by the compassionate actions of its members.”
