A heartfelt donation

We first met Pina when her parents were both residents at St. Andrew’s. She and her sisters were frequent visitors and also members of the Residents’ Committee. Pina stayed in touch after her parents passed away and wanted to find a way to give back. Partnering with a friend and collecting donations from the daycare where she works, Pina came back to visit St. Andrews to deliver a whole family of baby dolls! Caring for baby dolls is a much-loved activity of many residents living with dementia and offers them a great deal of comfort. Our heartfelt thanks to Pina for this wonderful gift.
