Elves to a Senior

Thanks to “Elves to a Senior” and the generosity of donors, residents of St. Andrews received Christmas gifts wrapped with love. An initiative of Alanis Buist Edwards, Elves to a Senior provided Christmas gifts to 3000 seniors at 34 different residences in Montreal this year. St. Andrew’s Residential Centre was on their “good list” and received a generous delivery. A yearly endeavour, keep your eyes peeled again next year for Christmas trees placed in 12 commercial locations. Each tree is decorated by tags listing items from residents’ wish lists. Community members embrace the spirit of holiday giving by taking a tag and purchasing the item while shopping. Items are then returned and wrapped and Alanis and her team of elves deliver the gifts in the days leading up to Christmas. On behalf of all the residents of St. Andrew’s, THANK YOU!
