St. Andrew’s Day

St. Andrew’s Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our proud Scottish roots and the namesake of the residence.

Since 2014, this annual celebration has taken the form of the St Andrew's Culture, Religious Heritage, and Pastoral Care Day organised by Chaplain Kosta Theofanos. Our thanks to Chaplain Theofanos for leading this event every year and for affirming the spiritual life of St. Andrew’s residents, caregiver families and staff.

This year, we had the pleasure of welcoming several guests to join us in our festivities at St. Andrew’s. Our sincere gratitude goes to David Inglis (pipes), Gabriel Harris (pipes), Makayla Cunningham (highland dancer), and Steven Logan, Clan Logan Commissioner of Canada, who shared his artwork with us. Our thanks also to the St. Andrew’s Society of Montreal and to Peggy Regan of Shortbread by Gryphon for the donation of Scottish Shortbread. A fantastic time was had by all! Latha fèill Anndrais sona dhuibh!
