Please join us in welcoming Stephanie Desgagné to the St. Andrews family. She is joining us as Head Nurse after Claudette Surpris’s recent retirement. Let us “virtually” introduce you with her mini-bio:

“I became a Registered Nurse at the age of 19. I began my career in pediatrics at the Montreal Childrens Hospital and later transferred to the Jewish General Hospital. Pre-pandemic I was a nursing educator at the Jewish General Hospital. I was asked to join the infection prevention and control team given the rapid spread of COVID-19. With this team, I helped open COVID screening clinics, managed outbreaks within the private residences found throughout our CIUSSS and was finally assigned to Maimonides. I am currently looking forward to working at St Andrews to ensure the residents are provided with the best quality of care while maintaining a wholistic approach, remaining safe and keeping COVID-19 at bay.”
